Oh, would be cool indeed but it's completelly different way. We would must have some device very "pokey-like". We don't have such.
But they have almost the same device like beeper (it's keyboard's CLICK in GTIA) so the thing they made is even NOT emulation - it is exact playing Music Studio's songs. But on another hardware.
Like playin' MODs on Amiga, PC and Atari STE - not any problem.
However I wait - as You do - for more complex engines. :>

More sad is - that they had currage to start experiments at once. I was trying to FORCE (haha - to ask :) ) some ZX coders to play Beeper music via AY or make stable music 6 (8?) channels routine on AY+CPU's activity and.... nobody gives a shit.
And Atarians *already* started to experiment with the Beeper engine and already played it not only via 1bit GTIA but also via 4bit POKEY and they consider addin' some volumes for the Music Studio's engine, heh. They *are* crazy. ;)
